Our Flexible Delivery option offers a dynamic online training platform that provides an interactive and high-quality learning experience. This approach allows students to study at their own pace and convenience, with the flexibility to attend in-person assessments at the academy when they are ready. It combines online learning with face-to-face assessment, reducing contact hours and minimising inconvenience, while still offering nationally accredited qualifications.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

NSTA Auburn™ offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for all the qualifications we provide.

What is RPL?
RPL is an assessment process that acknowledges the skills and knowledge you have acquired through formal training, work experience, or life experiences. If you are currently working in your field, you may already possess the necessary skills to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

Government Subsidies
Eligible participants may benefit from the Queensland Government Certificate 3 Guarantee Program, which subsidises the RPL process for approved qualifications. If eligible, you will only need to pay the published student contribution fee, as detailed in our student handbook.

Credit Transfer (CT)

What is Credit Transfer (CT)?
Credit Transfer is a process that grants students consistent credit for components of a qualification they have previously completed or been awarded.

Simply put, RPL recognises prior learning and experience, while Credit Transfer acknowledges formal qualifications.

How to Apply for Credit
When enrolling in a course, you will be asked if you wish to claim Credit Transfer (CT) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). To claim credit, bring copies of supporting documents to your enrolment session, such as your resume, job descriptions, references, and prior qualifications. Your assessor will help you document your application to ensure credit is awarded where applicable.

Can I Claim 100% Credit?
Yes, you can claim full credit if applicable. Simply enrol in a course, submit your evidence to your allocated assessor, and our electronic credit procedure will streamline the application process, making it straightforward and less stressful.
